Aims of the Script Foundry

The key aim of the group is to create a dialogue between like-minded writers that will enable us all to raise the level of our work.
To meet regularly to discuss projects, to make suggestions that the author may take on or not depending on their own view of the piece but certainly for the group to provide constructive feedback to the author.
To create a forum where we might discuss projects and collaborate where it’s thought to be appropriate.
To help all members of the group to view their own work from a different perspective.
To avoid a rigid structure to the meetings and to allocate time as seems most beneficial to the group.
For each participant to submit something to each meeting that might form the basis of discussion. It would also be helpful if the author were to provide the group with some idea of what they are looking for in such scrutiny of their work. What feedback would be helpful and most useful?
To promote discussion of the particular submissions and of the purpose of our writing generally.
To provide a forum to share good practice.
